Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st, 1995 in Berkeley California. She is most famous as an actress, having appeared as a character in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004), and Chrissie Mair's Content House.

Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is made up of actors, and she herself has been pursuing both careers. As a young girl she made her acting debut in Sergio Cittis's Sogni e bisogni. She played the lead in the film as Cristina Comencini in her first film Zoo which was released in 1989. Michele Soavi directed The Church 1989. She was Nanni Moretti's daughter in the next year in Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) was the point at which Asia truly began to become a household name. The film helped her move from the roles of young females to more sophisticated and mature character. Cannes International Film Festival received the movie well. Trauma (1996) and The Stendhal Sydrome are the others she's worked on with her famous father. The Phantom of the Opera The film, made in collaboration with her late father The Phantom of the Opera is the third three films she's acted in. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni used her absorbed and intense acting style in Condannato, a nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot in which she also played an important character. In 1995 Asia worked with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion, for which she was awarded a David di Donatello. Asia began directing for an occupation in the year 1994. The first film she directed was Prospettive. The film she made about her dad was followed by Abel/Asia (1998) the film which won an award during the Rome Film Festival in 1998. They were the two films she produced between 1996 and 1998. Asia was first introduced as a director of feature in Scarlet Diva (2000). In the film, she also starred and authored the screenplay. The film premiered in May 2000 across Italy and the rest of the world. The film was awarded an prize during the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York. After directing several music videos and giving birth, she welcomed her first child, Anna Lou. In 2002, Asia starred as a character in The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thrille directed with Vin Diesel. Asia is also the writer of several short stories published in many famous magazines.
