In 1995, she collaborated with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion , which again won her a David di Donatello and a Grolla d'oro. Asia started directing as a career in 1994. Her first short film was Prospettive. The documentary she wrote about her father followed by Abel/Asia (1998) which was a movie that won a prize during the Rome Film Festival and was the two films she directed between 1996 and 1998. Asia made her debut as a director of feature in Scarlet Diva (2000). In this film, she was also the lead actress and wrote the screenplay. The movie came out on the 20th of May the 20th of May, 2000 in Italy and the rest of world. The film was awarded an award at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York. In 2001, following the directing of numerous music videos and giving birth, she welcomed the first of her daughters, Anna Lou. She was in 2002 on the screen as The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton alongside Jean-Marc Bar as well as the action-packed film directed by Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia is also the creator of numerous stories that have been published in a variety of high-end magazines.
